လိင်စိတ်ခံယူမှု (Sexual Orientation): မိမိသည် မည်သည့်လိင်(များ)ကို စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ၊ ရုပ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ သို့မဟုတ် နှစ်မျိုးလုံးအရ ဆွဲဆောင်မှုရှိသည်ကို ရည်ညွှန်းသည်။ ဥပမာ - ဂေး၊ Lesbian ၊ ဘိုင်ဆက်ရွှယ်၊ ပန်ဆက်ရွှယ်၊ အေးဆက်ရွှယ်။ (Refers to who one is romantically, emotionally, or physically attracted to. Examples: Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Pansexual, Asexual).
လိင်လက္ခဏာ (Gender Identity): လူတစ်ဦး၏ အတွင်းစိတ်နှင့် ကိုယ်ပိုင်ခံစားချက်ဖြစ်သော ကျား၊ မ၊ နှစ်မျိုးလုံး၊ တစ်ခုမှမဟုတ် သို့မဟုတ် ကျားမစံနှုန်းများ၏ အခြားနေရာတစ်နေရာတွင် ရှိနေခြင်း။ ၎င်းသည် မွေးရာပါ လိင်အင်္ဂါနှင့် တူညီနိုင်သလို ကွဲပြားနိုင်သည်။ ဥပမာ - အမျိုးသား၊ အမျိုးသမီး၊ လိင်ပြောင်းထားသူ (Transgender)၊ non-binary။ (A person's internal, deeply held sense of their gender - man, woman, both, neither, or somewhere else along the gender spectrum.
